Christian Corner: Glorious Day (Living He Loved Me, Dying He Saved Me)

Christian Corner: -- this blog's segment will feature my endless pursuit of real joy through enriching my faith, allowing myself to learn through my spiritual struggles. Sometimes, exposing  my spiritual dryness--a humanly character of any person, and all that relates to my Christian beliefs. It has no intentions to intimidate, nor to force others to believe what I believe and how I believe. But, this is a section that aims to encourage anyone who seems drifting away, going astray and clouded by doubts into discovering their own personal relationship to Jesus.

Today, I will feature a Christian song. A song I must say is listed as one of the many Christian songs favorites I claim.

Casting Crowns - one of my fave Christian bands
GLORIOUS DAY

The subtitle captured me the most. And it says: "Living He Loved Me, Dying He Saved Me"

Here's the complete lyrics if you feel like singing it. It's worth listening and after you can contemplate and reflect on it.

One day when Heaven was filled with His praises
One day when sin was as black as could be
Jesus came forth to be born of a Virgin
Dwelt among men, my example is He

Word became flesh and the light shined among us
His glory revealed

Living He loved me, dying He saved me
And buried He carried my sins far away
Rising He justified freely forever
One day He's coming, oh, glorious day, oh, glorious day

One day they led Him up Calvary's mountain
One day they nailed Him to die on a tree
Suffering anguish, despised and rejected
Bearing our sins, my Redeemer is He

Hands that healed nations, stretched out on a tree
And took the nails for me

'Cause living He loved me, dying He saved me
And buried He carried my sins far away
Rising He justified freely forever
One day He's coming, oh, glorious day, oh, glorious day

One day the grave could conceal Him no longer
One day the stone rolled away from the door
Then He arose, over death He had conquered
Now He's ascended, my Lord evermore

Death could not hold Him
The grave could not keep Him from rising again

Living He loved me, dying He saved me
And buried He carried my sins far away
Rising He justified freely forever
One day He's coming, oh, glorious day, oh, glorious day
Glorious day

One day the trumpet will sound for His coming
One day the skies with His glories will shine
Wonderful day, my beloved one bringing
My Savior Jesus is mine

Living He loved me, dying He saved me
And buried He carried my sins far away
Rising He justified freely forever
One day He's coming, oh, glorious day, oh, glorious day
Glorious day, oh, glorious day

If you are a person who is suffering from a difficult situation, from oppression, from hatred, is holding anger inside your heart, and dwelling to any negative things right now--listening to this song will erase all that you're worried about. Why? It is because our sufferings doesn't even equate as to how our dear Jesus suffered just for the salvation of all.

When He lives here on earth he dedicated His life to love all of us and when the time of His death comes, He never refuse his obedience to the Father in heaven. He is so selfless and despite what He had experienced here on Earth yet no complains has ever comes out of His mouth.

We were once sinners and still sinners. His descending down to the Earth is a testament of how pure and  magnificent His love is for all of us. Despite our being so hard headed, stubborn, and full of lies yet He forgave us for all our moral failings. He never counts our sins but He focus on giving His love. He invest on forgiveness and unconditional love rather than forsaking us for all of our sins.

REFLECTION:

Let us ALL be thankful and grateful to our dear Almighty for selflessly risking His own life so that ALL of us may continuously live.
