DID YOU KNOW? - Something Great About JAPAN Worth Sharing

Cherry Blossoms Season

I read this beautiful information about Japan shared in Facebook timeline. I just feel the urge to share so that we can also reflect on.

It's pretty awesome reading articles like this as it awakens my interest to work for the common good of our people.

It brings out a sense of nationalism in me and the pride of being a Filipino as well.  I am a common Juan and is proud of my race.

Ok, let us know what great facts this nation are made of.

DID YOU KNOW?

1 - Did you know that Japanese children clean their schools every day for a quarter of an hour with teachers, which led to the emergence of a Japanese generation who is modest and keen on cleanliness.

2 - Did you know that any Japanese citizen who has a dog must carry bag and special bags to pick up dog droppings. Hygiene and their eagerness to address cleanliness is part of Japanese ethics.

3 - Did you know that hygiene worker in Japan is called "health engineer" and can command salary of USD 5000 to 8000 per month, and a cleaner is subjected to written and oral tests!!

4 - Did you know that Japan does not have any natural resources, and they are exposed to hundreds of earthquakes a year but do not prevent her from becoming the second largest economy in the world? -

5 - Did you know that Hiroshima returned to what it was economically vibrant before the fall of the atomic bomb in just ten years?

6 - Did you know that Japan prevents the use of mobile in trains, restaurants and indoor

7 - Did you know that in Japan students from the first to sixth primary year must learn ethics in dealing with people -

8 - Did you know that the Japanese even though one of the richest people in the world but they do not have servants. The parents are responsible for the house and children -

9 - Did you know that there is no examination from the first to the third primary level; because the goal of education is to instill concepts and character building, not just examination and indoctrination. -

10 - Did you know that if you go to a buffet restaurant in Japan you will notice people only eat as much as they need without any waste. No wasteful food.

11 - Did you know that the rate of delayed trains in Japan is about 7 seconds per year!! They appreciate the value of time, very punctual to minutes and seconds

12 -. Did you know that children in schools brush their teeth (sterile) and clean their teeth after a meal at school; They maintain their health from an early age -

13 - Did you know that students take half an hour to finish their meals to ensure right digestion When asked about this concern, they said: These students are the future of Japan

Cool right? If we can emulate some, if not all, of these good things about Japan - MAYBE, we can easily pull out from the pitfall of being slow in progress.

Though I'm not discounting the fact that we, as nation, have lots of good qualities to boost in the  front line of  international scene.

I know and I am convinced to believe that we can bring back the glory days of our nation.  A shining pearl in the orient seas.  A nation imbued with muti racial influences upon which is our greatest asset. Upon which asset that work to our great advantage in dealing with people in/of the world.

THUS, I am proud to say that 'IT IS MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES' and people are much more fun to be with in the PHILIPPINES.

  1. That's why I really adore Japan! Their people and culture is simply amazing. I must say, one of the most well-disciplined people in the world. Did you remember the time when they were devastated by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami? I salute them for that.

By the way Dad, Japan is one of my dream destinations. Di ako masyado fan ng food nila but the beauty of their nation is a must see. Malinis tas you'll see how much they appreciate mother earth. No wonder people from Japan live long kahit andaming earthquake sa kanila.

  7. I still have to meet a rowdy Japanese student but no, they are all well disciplined and so lovable as sudents. I like the way they bring their bento for lunch as they unwrap their utensils and food one by one, awesome!

  9. I love Japan and their fun culture! My friend who works in Japan told me some stuff about the Japanese culture, most of which are mentioned on your post. One thing though is that they have a culture of committing suicide too if they put themselves or their families to shame.

Still, I dream of visiting Japan someday - tapos pag malungkot ako dahil uuwi na, baka mag suicide na din ako haha :)

  10. ayun na nga ang great question, Japan is a great place to live at how come, they have a high rate of suicide? Minsan tlga siguro, it probably is a human nature to take for granted things that we already have, and setting high expectations based on others not on ourselves.

Gusto kong pumunta ng Japan kasi jan nakatira si Hello Kitkit at gusto ko ma-nenok yung golden rooster dun sa golden temple nila..hehe...
