In the story of creation in the book of Genesis 1:3 was written "And God said "Let there be light," and there was light.
Light is an essential element of our lives, whether literally or metaphorically speaking. A house is not a home without someone we consider as light--our mother. It is difficult to live without the care of a person we consider as such.
I can still remember the movie "The Fifth Element" where it tackles about the four stones of the four elements: Fire, Water, Earth, and Air --when there was a time where the universe is threatened by evil and the only hope is the "fifth element". Though the fifth element metaphorically represented by "Leeloo" yet in my understanding it is the "love" that is the fifth element needed.
It is the element to put an end to the threatening evil. That with love, it defies boundaries, races, colors, gender, or any other alienations attempting to bully our existence. It fuels the human heart to do what has to be done. To fight no matter how slim the chance is and to never give up in the midst of continuous failure.
People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out but when darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within.
We as human being are gifted in a unique and important way. It is our privilege and adventure to discover our own special light.
I would like to draw your attention on the different colors of these above photos. How did I took this? Well, we got this very interesting "Ultrasonic Mist Lamp" at home. It creates a soothing, healthy, and magical mist. It also has a very relaxing scent that sitting near its area is like your in a trascendental state. It's like slowly setting your mode into achieving peace and solemnity.
My wife bought it sometime last year and we have just activated it few days ago. And the fascinated part of me did nothing but taking several photos.
It was a soothing Friday indeed. Have a relaxing read everyone :)
